The Ostrobothnian pop poet Fredrik Furu from Jakobstad has released five albums in Swedish and his songs have been at the top of the Finnish-Swedish charts for more than a decade. Two singles from his latest album "Det som alla letar efter" (2019) also entered Radio Suomi's playlist with over 1.1 million listeners daily.

Last year, Fredrik celebrated 10 years as a solo artist and even though it was impossible to go on an anniversary tour, the pandemic gave way to new creativity. The hopeful song "Sommartid" was released and entered as number one on Yle Vegas' top list. Close after that, the love story "500 dar" followed and when the anniversary year ended with the thought-provoking "Aldrig tillbaka", Fredrik showed that he is in business with new stories to tell.  Currently playing is the song " Röster i vinden" - an atmospheric duet with Tove Ljungqvist - and this winter a new album will be released.
